Bids and Proposals Introduction
RFP/RFQ – Architect-Engineer Consultant Projects
The District awards projects to Architect-Engineer
(A-E) consultants based on a consultant’s qualifications and County of Orange contract policies.
Consultant qualifications are determined based on responses to the District’s
issuance of either a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) or a Request for Proposal
(RFP). Firms interested in being considered for A-E contracts must complete
and return the District’s Architect – Engineer
Questionnaire.
In addition to the procurement of contracts through the RFP and RFQ process,
the Orange County Board of Supervisors has authorized the OC Public Works to establish a slate of A-E firms at periodic
intervals for on-call professional services. Qualified firms may also be considered
for the on-call professional services.
