Project Information
The work to be done consists, in general, of vegetation removal, including trees,
from San Diego Creek (F05) Channel between Campus Drive and I-405. Most of the heavy
vegetation removal will be along the channel’s right (east) side. There is an established
40-foot vegetation habitat buffer zone located on the right (east) side of the facility.
Within the vegetation “buffer zone” selective vegetation removal shall be performed.
The project also includes sediment removal from 200 feet upstream of Campus Drive
to Michelson Drive. The sediment removal work will be along the east side of the
channel within the upper bench areas.
Construction will cost about $670,000.
