Project Information

Haster Basin:

This project will improve the storage capacity of Haster Retarding Basin within the East Garden Grove-Wintersburg Channel system. A new pump station and pumps are part of the project, to regulate and optimize the flow from the basin to the downstream channel. Improvements to the adjacent Twin Lakes Park will be constructed in conjunction with the new pump station. Recreational improvements will consist of filling a portion of the retarding basin for a new grass turf area, reconstruction of the basin perimeter multi-use path and replacement of dilapidated picnic tables and benches affected during to construction.
